Welcome to technology 2022-2023! My name is Mrs. Prusik. I have been teaching in New Haven for 17 years. Most of my teaching career has been in 5th grade. However, I am very excited to be teaching technology to our New Haven elementary students. I will be teaching at New Haven Elementary Monday - Wednesday, and Thursday afternoon. My educational background includes a Bachelor Degree of Science from Oakland University with an Elementary Classroom K-5 endorsement, and a Social Studies Endorsement in grades K-8. I went on to receive my Masters Degree in Educational Technology from Saginaw Valley for grades K-8.
I am married with two sons. My oldest son is Scott, who is married to Megan, and they have 3 children: Wyatt 3rd grade, Piper 1st grade and Elliot who started pre-school this year. Which makes me a grandma! My youngest son is Alex, who is currently in the Army Reserves and going to college. We have two dogs, one of which is pictured above, Zoey. She is a Great Dane. The other is a puppy named Lily. She is a mini bernedoodle.
When I am not with my family you can usually find me in my garden, camping or taking pictures. All of which I love very much. My love for photography is what first increased my interest in computers. I absolutely love working with computers while incorporating my photos in different projects. I also love working with children and I hope to instill my love for technology and my love for learning in our students.
