Target Goals: 

• Students will demonstrate Computer Lab rules and respect for equipment
• Students will learn to input username & password ​
• Students will practice Keyboarding and demonstrate understanding of home row and hand placement
• ​Students will demonstrate proper use of vocabulary 
• Students will demonstrate and understand logging into Google Classroom and the use of Google slides while changing font, inserting pictures, animating pictures 
• Students learn coding techniques, vocabulary while using code.org ​
• Students will demonstrate how to code using block coding. ​
• Students will demonstrate understanding of coding language such as algorithm and looping

Algorithm – A series of instructions on how to accomplish a task.
Coding – Transforming actions into a symbolic language.
Debugging – Finding and fixing issues in code.
Function – A piece of code that can be called over and over.
Parameters – Extra bits of information that you can pass into a function to customize it
Loop – The action of doing something over and over again. 
Variable – A placeholder for a piece of information that can change. 
Command – An instruction for the computer. Many commands put together make up algorithms and computer programs.
